Welcome to the H.E.A.L Rescue website! We are so glad you have stopped by. We hope the dogs you see here will inspire you to do what you can to end the needless suffering of abandoned and unwanted animals. Rescue takes a village, and this is ours. Welcome.
Sit. Stay. HEAL.
What We Do
H.E.A.L. is made up of a group of volunteers who dedicate their time, energy and other resources to help the dogs in our care. Our mission is to responsibly rescue and re-home dogs in need. We are currently an all-breed rescue with a focus on "family-friendly" dogs who through no fault of their own have found their way into municipal shelters or whose owners can no longer keep them.
All H.E.A.L. dogs will be
brought up to date on vaccines (including rabies, DA2PP and Bordetella)
spayed or neutered
heartworm tested and started on preventative if negative
treated for any obvious medical issues found by our vets
We at H.E.A.L. believe in collaboration when it comes to saving deserving dogs. Please visit our "Rescue Collaborative" page to learn more!
YOU can be a HEALer!
Now that you have found us, why not join us? We are always looking for volunteers to help with the many facets of rescue including completing vet reference checks, phone interviews, home visits, fundraising, promotions and most importantly FOSTERING! If you are interested in volunteering please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are you a dog-lover? Do you have an empty spot in your home where a deserving dog could lie and sleep peacefully? Have you ever wondered if you could do more to help homeless dogs? If you have said "yes" to any of these questions - become a FOSTER today. There is no experience that can compare.
When you foster a dog you are saving a life. It's that simple. For every foster home we have one less dog dies. The sad reality is that thousands of dogs, many perfectly healthy and adoptable, die every year needlessly. THOUSANDS. NEEDLESSLY. Feel powerless? Well you are not! Open your heart and home to a rescue dog today and you will LITERALLY SAVE A LIFE. YOU will SINGLE-HANDEDLY change this horrible statistic.
