What We Do

H.E.A.L. is made up of a group of volunteers who dedicate their time, energy and other resources to help the dogs in our care. Our mission is to responsibly rescue and re-home dogs in need. We are currently an all-breed rescue with a focus on "family-friendly" dogs who through no fault of their own have found their way into municipal shelters or whose owners can no longer keep them. 

All H.E.A.L. dogs will be

• brought up to date on vaccines (including rabies, DA2PP and Bordetella)
  
• spayed or neutered
• heartworm tested and started on preventative if negative
• treated for any obvious medical issues found by our vets
